Youth Camp

July 21-24, 2021

Good News Washington invited Word Harvest Chapel to a Youth Camp , this was the first encounter with our neighboring church in Manassas where we met some members of their church and their youth. It was an amazing adventure meeting a different culture from our own who we are connected to as one in the body of Christ. In the Youth Camp our youth learned about sin, salvation, connection, judgment, grace and many more!. We also sang, danced, had fellowships and played many games especially VOLLEYBALL.

The main theme of the camp was “You are saved by grace” nothing more nothing less, God loved us so much that He sent His only Son and because of Jesus we can be made righteous. How are can we be made righteous, we are sinners?, Yes unholy people cannot dwell with God and the unrighteous can’t inherit the kingdom of God but it says in Roman 3:22-24 that we receive righteousness through faith in Jesus. So you are no longer a sinner but you are righteous because of God’s grace, His gift to mankind, His son Jesus Christ, whom you must have faith in in order to obtain righteousness; for you cannot be righteous on your own but through Christ. As true believers of Christ we are justified freely by God’s grace.
